What we loved most was that for our intimate wedding with just ten guests we had the venue exclusively to ourselves. We had our ceremony and wedding reception in the palace, which we fell in love with on our visit. The staff went above and beyond in their service, not only on the day but also in the lead-up. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made it completely stress-free. It was great that the Manowce team worked so well with the Polish wedding planner we had hired. The venue is outstanding, located right on the shore of a large bay. It is hard to imagine a more picturesque setting. Inside, all the rooms are filled with antique furniture and paintings, and the sofas and beds are very sumptuous and comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who wanted something different. And now in the age of cheap airlines, Poland and Manowce are so close and inexpensive to get to!

We were googling historic and luxury wedding venues country by country and had only three things on our minds when we first talked about the wedding venue: a destination wedding, in Europe, and in a breath-taking location. We have quite a number of family and friends in Europe, so Europe seemed a natural choice. However, we did not want the Mediterranean; since it's so trite. After many hours of scrolling through images and websites, we finally found it! We found our dream venue - Manowce; an enchanting palace in Poland! We pre-booked Manowce without seeing it in person. I must thank Joanna, who helped us through the process - for all our Skype sessions to discuss the food, decorations, music and a thousand other details. The result was beyond my imagination! My friends couldn't believe that I saw the venue and met Joanna for the first time the day before the wedding. The quality of the catering, floristry and the accommodations for ourselves, our families and friends was of the very highest standard. The destination and surroundings were also beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend Manowce to any couple looking for their own 'perfect wedding' in this magical part of Europe.

Ahhh, where to start?! We initially planned to get married at a castle in the UK. Then our Polish friend said, “Why not Poland?” Well, a destination wedding wasn’t on our radar, let alone Poland. But she mentioned a new venue that was about to open, so we checked it out online – and fell in love with the location. When we visited Manowce, we immediately knew this was THE place: a stunning setting with the most magical feel. And then the wedding itself. Everything about the venue, food, ceremony and accommodation was perfect. We had fantastic feedback from our guests, who were extremely complimentary, especially about the friendly and caring staff whose attention to detail to made our day so wonderful and memorable. And it was so easy for the guests to travel to the wedding: the plane tickets weren’t expensive, and Manowce provided a free coach shuttle from Berlin and back. So we want to thank Manowce personally for all the planning and excellent service on our great day. The message for other couples: having a destination wedding right can be so simple and so perfect.
