The unique aspect of Ghan House is that you can have exclusive use of the whole house & gardens, which means, no other guests apart from your own! When the quality of the food is important to you, then our award winning chefs can produce a spread which befits your occasion! We have beautiful views of Slieve Foy, the Mourne Mountains & Carlingford Lough from the walled gardens, all the public rooms & bedrooms. Georgian ambience, log fires, candlelight.

One word to describe Ghan House, Professional. From the first tentative enquiries to the big day they were great. Nothing was a problem, any request we had was catered for. The venue is second to none, we are a mature couple and Ghan House was the ideal venue for us and our 65 guests we had exclusive use of the house and grounds for the day which made it extra special. It's a beautiful hotel, exquisite food, excellent location and hosts are so accommodating and make you feel special. The intimacy and personalising shone through over a corporate commercial conveyor belt approach in large venues or franchised brands. It's a beautiful hotel, and feels like home from home setting for such a special family event.
