Designed by the well-known architect Jost Franz Huwyler-Boller from Zurich and completed in 1906, the Grand Hotel Kurhaus was an attempt to establish Bergün as a climatic health resort and a destination for tourism.
In 2002, a group of regular guests, founded a corporation restored the building step by step, conserving the historic monument and skillfully polishing off the dust from this gem of the Art Nouveau era, making it shine for the coming decades. Now, the Kurhaus is more than a hotel.
The magnificent ballroom now shines again in its original glory – an ideal setting for parties, celebrations and dancing. Together with the inviting foyer and the Kurhaus Park there is a wide range of possibilities for unforgettable weddings. Or you dine in the historical and carefully renovated old kitchen in the Sous-Sol and feel the history of the house.
